Special & Inclusive Education
Education is not a privilege; it is a fundamental right — for every child, in every circumstance. At Sirisha Rehabilitation Centre (SRC), we are deeply committed to delivering Special and Inclusive Education for Children and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) and other associated conditions. Our aim is to ensure that no learner is left behind — regardless of ability, background, or need.
Our Purpose
We believe that education should nurture not only the mind but also the potential, dignity, and confidence of every learner. Our Special & Inclusive Education Program is designed to create customized learning pathways that allow individuals with disabilities to thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and functionally.

Inclusive Education Initiatives
In parallel, SRC actively promotes Inclusive Education by preparing children to enter mainstream schools and working with school systems to become more accommodating and accessible.
Our inclusion model focuses on:
✅ School Readiness Programs
✅ Inclusive Classroom Support and Shadow Teaching
✅ Teacher Sensitization and Training Programs
✅ Peer Awareness and Inclusion Workshops
✅ Assistive Devices and Accessible Learning Materials
✅ Regular Monitoring and Back-End Support
We partner with local schools, government institutions, and NGOs to promote the principles of accessibility, equity, and non-discrimination in education systems.
Bridging the Gap
The gap between special and inclusive education can be vast — but SRC serves as a bridge, ensuring children with disabilities are not isolated but empowered to become part of a learning community. Our work creates a continuum of care, from diagnosis and early intervention to education, rehabilitation, and eventual social integration.
Lifelong Impact
Many of our students, once non-verbal or non-responsive, are now reading, writing, socializing, and participating in their communities. Through compassionate teaching, structured methodologies, and a belief in every child’s ability, we open doors that were once closed — transforming not only lives but also mindsets.
